Halloumi

Halloumi is a well known traditional Cypriot semi-hard cheese made from a mixture of goat’s , sheep’s and cow’s milk. It has a very fresh and appealing taste, mildly salty and due its high melting point, makes it identical to be fried or grilled. Grilled halloumi is the most popular version, but can also be eaten pan-fried or thinly sliced on a salad.
