Manuka Honey

Manuka honey comes from the flower of Leptospermum scoparium (also known as Manuka Bush) which is indigenous only to New Zealand. Apart from its growing number of medicinal and health benefits that are still being discovered, it is also unique in its taste and texture when compared to other honeys. It tastes earthier, richer, and nuttier than other honeys, while its texture is thick but smooth. The honey can only be harvested during a 12-day period every year, which contributes further to its rarity and uniqueness.
